Coral Bay ligt 1000 kilometer ten noorden van Perth, de hoofdstad van West-Australië. De stad is omgeven door natuurparken, zoals Shark Bay National Park, ongelooflijk mooi en met een enorme biologische en geologische rijkdom. U vindt er beschermde dieren, zoals walrussen, de beroemde Monkey Mia dolfijnen, manta’s, bultruggen en vele andere exotische diersoorten. De belangrijkste kuststeden in noordwestelijk Australië zijn Port Hedland; Karratha en Broome, waar u het grootste hotelaanbod vindt en de meeste commerciële activiteit. U kunt er de regio Kimberley bezoeken, maar ook het meer Argyle en het Hidden Valley National Park.
