Das Personal war sehr nett und sehr aufmerksam. Abholung am Flughafen (trotz Ankunft um 0.15 Uhr) hat wunderbar geklappt.Werder gerne wieder kommen.

A bit loud around the hotel: railway, busy road; however sound-proof. Allright if one can sleep with windows closed. Recommendable.

Courtesy phone at airport did not work. Got a recorded message in German and then high pitched tone. Called hotel by mobile phone. Staff unwilling to send courtesy van to pick me up at airport. Was assured it was an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. Not so easy when you're carrying 20k of luggage. Was assured I can see the hotel from the airport. Maybe so, but I don't know what it looks like, and lots of buildings can be seen from the airport. I asked what the building(s) looked like. Was told it was a red one next to a white one. Turns out "red" meant a brick building, and the bricks being more brown than red. No signage that can be seen from any distance. As a matter of fact, I only saw the Albergo sign once I was on the property. Arrived at the hotel sweaty from carrying heavy bags and with a blister on my foot. Needless to say, I was irritated and not very pleasant. All this could have been avoided by sending the courtesy van for a pick up. The room was clean. No air conditioning so I opened windows. It was then I discovered the hotel is directly next to the train tracks. Even if the noise from trains had been bearable, the mosquitos coming in through the unscreened windows were not and they made it impossible to leave the windows open. Although the room was very clean and presentable, I don't know how anyone could stay there if the weather was any warmer. Sorry to be so negative; I'm not usually this way, but this was my experience with the Albergo.

The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. The shuttle service to and from the airport was useful to us and very prompt. The restaurant was very good. The food was fresh and well prepared, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower arrangements were dreadful ! One could not avoid getting the entire bathroom wet in the process of having a shower, which made subsequent use very awkward.

Great value for money and spotless.
The noise of the trains through the night was a constant problem.2nd time I have stayed and even asked for a different room but no difference.Great hotel for heavy sleepers.//
