Room was clean.
The shower was broke and only cold water available. After my check-in i had to wait 2 hours for the bed linen arrive. Hotel very noise early in the morning.

I can't think of anything positive to say about this hotel
Where do I start, they were unable to find the reservation, no obvious directions/signs to find room, the carpet on the stairs was a potential death trap, the fan in the bathroom was constantly trying to impersonate a fog horn, to shave I had to sit in the bath and still crouch down to get near the sink, the bath had shed most of its enamel and was growing hairs up the tiles, the shower was an adventure all on its own, scolding to luke warm in a breath, great if you are in training for strictly come dancing, but not relaxing after a hard days work. If the carpet in our room was any thinner, it would have been transparent. The headboards on the beds were independant of the bed frame and would play a sweet number on the wall at the slightest movement. Due to the location of the beds, we had to 'limbo' under the low roof and i forgot to take my binoculars to be able to see the TV. The parking was great, if you could get in! The continental breakfast was not as supplied in every other hotel I have stayed in. I could carry on and on. When we tried to cancel our booking due to these problems, we were told the cancellation fee would be the full ammount of the booking.
Leave, find a better one and stay there ............

Overall we got what we paid for and great if you just want a base or to escape. Criteria we looked for when booking was simple - reasonably close to SW11, yep 7 miles but a half hour drive, en-suite bathroom, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, breakfast and free parking and inexpensive - we got all those! Would stay again and recommend for a convenient and cheap stay.
Looks great from the outside, onsite parking at no extra charge, very pleasant staff and welcoming. Great price and nice and quiet.
Continental breakfast consisted of choice of 4 cereals, toast, coffee and fruit juice! Room was disappointing on first appearance - carpet stained, walls had seen much better days and so had the bathroom - one plug to share between bath and basin which didn't fit basin properly anyway. Beds were reasonably comfortable though quite rickety & knocked against wall each time turned over. View from room was not great. Would not have classed this room as 3*, must be on the upgrade list.

Toilet seat did not suck well. Hotel room`s lightning was too dark. We would have needed more light. The walls were thin, we heard too easily neighbours making noise.
The bus stop was just front of the hotel. Hotel locates quite close to East Croydon train sation. The staff was helpful.
Continental breakfast was poor. We were really disappointed. There was no cheese or ham to toasts, only butter and marmalade.

This hotel is in dire need of a deep clean and refurbishment! Paint is peeling often at the edges in rooms and carpets are showing a load of ingrained dirt - investment in new carpets or at the very least carpet shampooing is highly desired. Additionally corners and edges in rooms and bathrooms are showing lack of upkeep. I was in Room 308 which had a Velux window with a blind that hardly blocked out any light at all. Additionally I stayed another night with colleagues the next night and none of us had reading lights at our bed-sides. Each room relied on one gloomy overhead light - not sufficient for reading a book. When I asked for a reading lamp at reception, they did not have one available. Staff attitudes at times seemed to be a bit lackadaisical. This hotel with a little TLC and a change of staff attitudes could be a real gem but at the moment it's overpriced for the quality of product.

The room was 50 degrees centigrade hot when we arrived. There was no bar in the lobby or anywhere.

Naast ingang kamer stapels was in nis gestapeld. Oude huizen tot hotel omgetoverd, opknapbeurt wenselijk. Ligging hotel voor openbaar vervoer niet praktisch maar wel doenlijk(bus naar station, trein naar Victoria station)
