Alberobello is een gemeente in de Italiaanse provincie Bari, in de regio Puglia. Dankzij de typisch plaatselijke stijl, staan vele huizen, Trulli genaamd, sinds 1996 op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst.
Deze stenen bouwwerken dateren uit de 16e eeuw en liggen temmidden van olijfboom- en wijngaarden vol smalle paadjes die een prachtig landschap vormen. Sommige Trulli worden nu gebruikt als restaurants, winkels, kunstzalen of zelfs als accommodaties.
Maar om te overnachten zijn er ook 4- en 5-sterren hotels. Tevens is er een keur aan restaurants, waar u heerlijk kunt eten.
De stad is per trein bereikbaar en ligt op 55 kilometer van Bari. Dichtbij Alberobello bevinden zich andere attracties, die u te voet kunt bezoeken, zoals de fascinerende dorpjes Locorotondo, Cisternino en Ostuni, of de barokke elegantie van Martina Franca. Samen met de Grotten van Castellana en het dal van Itria zijn dit de mooiste excursies.
