Sabah is een staat op het eiland Borneo, in Maleisië. De hoofdstad is Kota Kinabalu. In Sabah bevindt zich het gebergte Kinabalu, met 4.175 meter de hoogste bergtop van Maleisië en heel zuidoost Azië.
Kota Kinabalu is een moderne hoofdstad, heel gastvrij en met ongelooflijke landschappen: goudkleurige stranden, paradijselijke eilanden, regenwouden en prachtige koraalriffen.

Als u iets leerzaams wilt doen, dan moet u zeker het Museum van de Staat Sabah bezoeken. Dit is een complex dat in 1985 gebouwd is, en een museum omvat, evenals een botanisch – etnische tuin en een dierentuin.
Vlakbij het museum bevindt zich het Centrum voor Wetenschap en Technologie en Sabah Art.
