La Paz is een stad in Mexico.
De stad kenmerkt zich door een fraai landschap, grotendeels dankzij de schitterende stranden aan de zee Mar Cortés. Dit is het mooiste deel van de stad, met kristalhelder water en witte zandstranden. Er is een grote rijkdom aan vis. Het meest bezochte strand is Playa Tecolote, met niet alleen prachtig uitzicht, maar ook goede voorzieningen om te eten en vele opties voor talrijke soorten watersport.
In La Paz kunt u ook vele andere activiteiten doen, evenals excursies organiseren, bijvoorbeeld walvissen observeren. Vooral de kinderen vinden dit prachtig.
Een van de voornaamste plekken in de stad is het plein Plaza de la Constitución, het grootste en belangrijkste van de stad, dat inmiddels gemoderniseerd is. Ook bezienswaardig is het Regionaal Museum voor Antropologie en Geschiedenis, maar zeker ook het Stadstheater.
