Torreón, in het noorden van México, is een stad in de staat Coahuila en maakt deel uit van de streek Comarca Lagunera.
In Torreón ligt Cerco de las Noas, met de Christus van de Noas, een echte trekpleister. Net als de kerk zelf trouwens, die op een hoge bergtop ligt. De hoogste bergtop, de Cerro del Centinela, ligt op 3000 meter.
Enkele van de voornaamste bezienswaardigheden zijn: het Museum Arocena; het Museum van de Revolutie; en het Regionale Museum van de Lagune. Dit laatste museum bevindt zich in het Bos Venustiano Carranza, het groene hart van Torreón, waar veel gesport wordt en dat ook een trefpunt voor vele families is. Andere groene gebieden en tuinen vindt u in Alameda Ignacio Zaragoza; Plaza de Armas; Las Etnias; en Fundadores. De passie voor de golfsport vindt zijn weerslag in de topklasse golfbanen.
Er zijn mooie excursies naar ongelooflijke bestemmingen, zoals de duinen van Bilbao: een zandwoestijn waar u op het fijne zand kunt sandboarden of zelfs kan skiën. Andere bestemmingen zijn: de grotten Cuevas del Tabaco; Zona del Silencio (het Gebied van de Stilte); een boottocht over de Mezquite; la Datilera (palmbomen); de dam Presa Francisco Zarco; de brug Puente Ojuela; de rivier Nazas; en nog vele andere.
