Phi Phi is een archipel in het zuiden van Thailand, die deel uit maakt van de provincie Krabi, in de Andamanse Zee. Deze bestaat uit vier uitermate mooie eilanden.
De eilanden Koh Yung en Koh Pai zijn klein en erg rustig, bijna ongerept en werkelijk schitterend. Het eiland Koh Phi Phi Don is het grootste van de vier en het enige dat vast bewoond is. De bevolking bevindt zich in de havenplaats Ton Sai. Er is een gevarieerd aanbod aan hotels, vanaf kleine en schilderachtige bungalows tot en met luxueuze resorts. Er is een regelmatige bootverbinding naar andere interessante plekken.
Het eiland Koh Phi Phi Leh is een droomplek, waar diverse films zijn opgenomen, zo mooi is het daar. De kalksteenrotsen zorgen voor steile klifwanden aan de kust. Het populairste en grootste strand is de Baai Maya, met fijn wit zand en kristalhelder water. De zonsondergang, als u naar een beetje hoge plek op het eiland gaat, is onvergetelijk.
Het is geweldig om hier voor watersport te gaan, waaronder vooral duiken natuurlijk. Er worden talrijke heerlijke visschotels klaargemaakt, en die kunt u in een van de vele, aan het strand gelegen restaurants proeven.
