Florida Keys, in het zuidoosten van de VS, is een archipel die in een boog langs de kust van de Straat van Florida ligt. Een uiteinde ervan ligt vlakbij Cuba, het andere vlakbij Miami.
Het klimaat van deze paradijselijke plek is erg warm, en u vindt er vanaf bossen die typisch van de hoogvlaktes zijn, tot moerassen en schitterende stranden. In Key Largo ligt het John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park; Islamorada is een vissersparadijs; voor echte rust dient u in Marathon te zijn; Lower Keys is ideaal om te duiken in indrukwekkende omgevingen, en in Key West staat al het vertier van Duval Street voor u klaar.
